My Birthday Wish will help the child to understand that being yourself is the best wish of all.  The illustrations add to the enjoyment of the story.  They are in full color and very appropriate to the text.  Every other page is an illustration.  The sample page from the book illustrates how the story is told to the child by using their name as part of the story.  The names of one or more friends or siblings will be incorporated as an integral part of the story.
